Our Story
Both houses started the same way: we wanted somewhere of our own in the Colorado high alpine.
Casa de Cristal sits at 8,500 feet on Ram’s Horn Mountain in Estes Park. We’d been coming to Estes for years and eventually wanted a place there that was ours, and something the town didn’t have yet: a modern mountain house that respects the landscape instead of imitating it. We worked with a local design agency to turn a 1970s cabin into three stories of floor-to-ceiling glass, with the Continental Divide filling every window.
Cedars 42 is the other story. Jonathan started skiing Breckenridge as a kid and never stopped coming back. When a unit came up that was both ski-in/ski-out and walkable to Main Street, which almost never happens in Breck, we bought it. Sleeps ten. A hop and a skip from the Quicksilver lift, about five minutes from town.
A Note on the Linens
Our family runs HiEnd Accents, a luxury textile house. The duvet covers, throws, pillows, and quilts in both homes are from our collections, and we rotate seasonal pieces in through the year.
That isn’t a sales pitch. It’s a promise: in either of these towns, this is the best bed you’re going to sleep in. We pride ourselves on the linens, and after a long day on the mountain, the right sheets matter.
