Before You Book

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Our property manager Trish will greet you in person for a house tour and amenity demonstration. No check-in or check-out on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day.
Casa de Cristal sleeps 10+ guests across 6 bedrooms with 6.5 bathrooms. The home has a king bed, three queen beds (plus a queen sleeper sofa), a twin pullout, and four twin bunk beds. A Pack-and-Play and highchair are available upon request (please bring your own bedding for the Pack-and-Play).
From November through May, 4WD or AWD with snow tires is required. The mountain roads leading to Casa de Cristal are winding and steep, and conditions can change rapidly in winter. From June through October, any vehicle with good tires is fine, though an SUV or vehicle with higher clearance is always recommended.
No, pets are not allowed at Casa de Cristal. This helps us maintain the property in pristine condition for all guests, especially those with allergies.
Yes, the primary guest (person making the booking) must be 28 years or older. This policy helps ensure a respectful, peaceful experience for all guests and our mountain community neighbors.
Casa de Cristal has 5 parking spaces: 2 in the garage and 3 outdoor spaces. Please do not park on the road or block the driveway.
Yes, high-speed WiFi is available throughout the home. Cell service varies by carrier — reception is generally good but can be spotty in mountain areas.
Parties are not permitted. However, we do accommodate corporate retreats, small group events, and gatherings with prior approval. Please contact us to discuss your plans and we’ll work with you to ensure a great experience for your group.
Yes! We partner with Sunrise Chefs, who can prepare multi-course meals in your own kitchen. Casa de Cristal guests receive a 10% discount on all Sunrise Chefs services. Ask us for details when you book.
There are 2 exterior security cameras on the outside of the property only. There are no cameras inside the home. The cameras are for security purposes and to monitor the driveway.
Yes! The tap water is sourced from the Colorado River and Glacier Creek. It’s safe, clean, and tastes great — much better than city tap water.
We have snowshoes and rucking gear available for guest use. Just ask when you book or check in, and we’ll make sure they’re ready for you.
